As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in our success. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of accounting, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish. Your attention to detail and ability to effectively communicate will be essential.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and pay bills with Quickbooks Online upon invoice approval.
• Reconcile subcontractor progress payments against the corresponding quote and change orders.
• Create client invoices for approval.
• Initiate payments. Verify all required vendor documents: valid certificate of insurance (if applicable), W9, and subcontractor agreement (if applicable).
• Project expenses vs budget reconciliation.
• Reconcile the monthly bank statement.
• Receive, record, and notify the management team of client payments.
• Assist accountant with tax preparation as needed.
• Gather and archive electronic invoices/receipts for all expenses.
• Process, verify, and reconcile input documentation.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a bookkeeping role.
• Proficiency with Quickbooks Online and Microsoft Office.
•  Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
•  Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule and Salary:

This is a 1099 position

Part-time, 5 - 15 hours per week 

Flexible Schedule: Work during normal business hours, and weekly meetings during office hours. Some work can be done after hours.

Hybrid availability - must be located in or near Boulder, CO.

Pay: $35 per hour. Commensurate with experience
